“Complex” and “exotic” describe Fall ’07 colors. According to the Pantone Fashion Color Report, “nuanced colors with subtle undertones enhance the ever-present neutrals and allow for clever and extraordinary color combination."
Tasty Colors
“Spicy Chili Pepper”, “Lemon Curry”, “Purple Wine”
With names like these, expect interesting color combinations this fall. These rich colors are balanced by nature-based favorites Rose Pink and Green Moss.
The Color Management Group (CMG), a leading international association of color design professionals, the most powerful color trends are driven by concerns for the environment. Specifically, CMG predicts these trends:
“Green” Rules
The idea of “green” means the color green, too. Look for softer, more botanical greens inspired by nature.
Blues from Nature
The color of the sky and water, true blues from nature will be everywhere.
New Natural Neutrals
The newsest neutrals, especially medium to dark browns, are soul-satisfying. Beiges, browns, and tans will be more earthy and grounded.
Rich Ethnic Accents
Colors to punctuate neutrals and earth-tones, warmed-up accents of rich reds and oranges are the “punch” colors for 2007.
